Ta’hoos Al Shahania (Harran ASF x Najda) landed the second race on the card, a Local Purebred Arabian Handicap for ratings 0–65 over 1200m, Class 6, contested by 14 runners. The five-year-old chestnut horse, owned by HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Thani and trained by Rudy Nerbonne, recorded his second victory from nine career starts and maintained his remarkable record of never finishing outside the first three, surging from the rear to score decisively by 3½ lengths under Mohammed Hassan Ali Alabdulmalik. Settled at the back after the break, Ta’hoos Al Shahania watched as Kanz Al Adeed (AF AlBahar) led the early stages from Alam Al Zaeem (Alam Al Khalediah) and Taimoor (Nizam). Midway through the race, Thaar (La Hoor) improved to take over and maintained the advantage approaching the home turn, with Taimoor still tracking in second as the tempo lifted. Rounding the bend, Ta’hoos Al Shahania began a strong run from the rear alongside Habes (Harran ASF), both making rapid ground on the leaders. Though Thaar held a narrow advantage early in the straight, the final 300m saw Ta’hoos Al Shahania unleash a powerful surge to take command and quickly put the result beyond doubt, drawing clear in emphatic fashion. Taimoor, owned by Abdulaziz Saleh Al-Otaibi and trained by Mohammed Hassan Al Matwi, stayed on under Saleh Faraj Al-Otaibi to take second, finishing a length ahead of Habes. The latter, representing Abdulaziz Saleh Al Jaber and prepared by Hadi Al Ramzani, ran on under Soufiane Saadi to secure third.
